Radical Team Approach Yields Results
Danielle Lynch began her career at Cline Davis & Mann in 2006, where she supported the agency’s largest accounts, launches, and digital promotions. Her notable career accomplishments include working with AgencyRx to lead the launch of Pomalyst, Celgene’s next-generation multiple myeloma therapy, as well as managing Celgene’s entire hematology franchise for five years.
In 2017, she made the jump to Phreesia, a SaaS-based patient intake company, as Director of Agency Relationships. Her early and continued success in fostering and maintaining Phreesia’s agency relationships led to her 2019 promotion to her current role as Vice President of Client Experience.
Danielle has helped Phreesia Life Sciences significantly broaden its scope of services to include branded campaigns, disease education, large strategic initiatives, and customized client content. Under her direction, Phreesia Life Sciences has established itself as a leader in digital, patient-centric advertising that attains measurable outcomes.
Since playing a pivotal role in taking Phreesia public in 2019, Danielle has more than doubled the size of her team and its bookings. And Phreesia Life Sciences’ new programs and accounts have increased rapidly—over the past year, Danielle’s team has grown business in almost all of its accounts across an array of disease states and therapeutic categories. Revenue has also swelled significantly, with approximately 77% expansion between fiscal year 2021 and fiscal year 2022.
Danielle has cultivated a positive, collaborative culture within the Client Experience division and takes pride in running the unit as a team. Her team-based sales model is built on the premise that employees win together because of how they work together. Danielle’s team works without individual contributors and instead brings in talent from creative and media agency backgrounds who have worked on a wide range of brands, therapeutic categories, and lifecycles to achieve its quotas.
David Linetsky, Phreesia’s Senior Vice President, Life Sciences, calls Danielle’s innovative approach “radically different than anything seen in other organizations.” He credits Danielle as the catalyst for the company’s monumental change in go-to-market strategy. “She has managed to maintain the incredible team culture she pioneered to attract and retain the absolute best talent in the industry.”
