SVP, Brand Strategy

Klick Health

The Brand Builder

As a child, Leslie Jamison grew up dreaming of being a doctor, but realized her strengths laid elsewhere. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Chemical Engineering and upon graduating started her career as a Senior Market Manager for the chem-tech division of a global swiss company. Later, when she went back to school to earn her MBA at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, she decided to marry her love of healthcare and marketing and refocused her career on healthcare marketing. It was a defining moment in her life and she couldn’t be happier.

“When you crack the strategy and have that lightbulb ‘aha’ moment and your team and clients get really excited about the brand and creating a powerful brand experience,” Leslie says, “there’s nothing like it.”

Now with over 25 years of experience in brand strategy development and customer insight-driven marketing, Leslie is one of the industry’s most passionate business-building strategists. At Klick, she is focused on building a center of excellence in brand development to help life sciences clients bring branding into the digital age. She and her team spend their days immersed in brand strategy and planning—collaborating with clients to develop breakthrough brands that maximize a molecule’s potential through motivating customer experiences that are brought to life visually, verbally, and experientially.

“Leslie redefines what a brand strategist should be,” says Holly Henry, Klick’s Chief Medical Officer. “She has the unique ability to garner the deepest customer insights and weave them into a meaningful story that drives the development of a brand.”

Prior to joining Klick in 2015, she served as Managing Director & Partner of an insights-driven brand consultancy. She created strategic offerings to help their healthcare clients build insight-driven brands, drove business development that resulted in year-over-year revenue growth, and helped to build a strong company culture. She helped lead the expansion of the business globally before the consultancy was acquired by a global agency network in 2010. Further back, she served as Director and VP of Marketing of IV Systems at a Fortune 500 healthcare company, where she was recognized with a Marketing Excellence Award and a President’s Gold Teamwork Award.
