Making the Complex Communicable

With a PhD in Cell Biology and Genetics from Cornell University, Dr. Margaret Berg’s deep clinical expertise paired with her enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and exceptional communication skills make her an invaluable asset to clients and internal teams alike.

Matthew Collins, KOĀTE Brand Director, Kedrion Biopharma, says, “Margaret’s perception of the market and ability to navigate and process daunting amounts of clinical information have helped my brand (and me) grow despite an increasingly challenging environment. Her professionalism and scientific prowess have given me the confidence to make quick, informed decisions in a rapidly evolving market. I absolutely trust and depend on her knowledge and ability to make the ‘complex’ communicable.”

At Core-Rx Communications, Margaret plays a direct role in transforming the way that patients, caregivers, nurses, physicians—as well as marketers, sales representatives, and clinical educators—learn and absorb the important information that life science companies have to offer. Additionally, Margaret holds a certificate in U.S. Healthcare Compliance and undergoes yearly compliance training to help clients stay current in this highly regulated environment.

Margaret is especially passionate about the field of rare diseases. For bleeding disorders, specifically, Margaret has written extensive training modules on coagulation fundamentals and hemophilia A. She regularly reviews and summarizes the latest clinical literature and ongoing clinical trials, and attends major scientific meetings, preparing and presenting updates for clients and internal teams.

Margaret is making waves in the broad-reaching oncology market as well. She recently played an integral role in a workshop geared toward identifying met and unmet needs for patients, caregivers, and HCPs involved in cutting-edge CAR T-cell therapy clinical trials. Her expertise was paramount to identifying opportunities to both improve the patient/caregiver experience and establish the client as a patient-centric market leader.

“Margaret has been invaluable to Kedrion Biopharma in our emergence within the U.S. market,” says Neal Fitzpatrick, VP, Commercial Head North America, Kedrion Biopharma. “Her knowledge, insights, and follow up are some of the best I have ever seen in my more than 30 years in the business. No matter the urgency, she is always there to help—she is tireless and selfless in her support of our business.”
