John Ciccio joined Skipta, a leading social network of specialized online medical communities for verified healthcare professionals, as Chief Operating Officer tasked with implementing structure, refining business operations, bolstering culture, and optimizing productivity. Within a short time, he was promoted to the role of President overseeing the Operations, Technology, Finance, Client Solutions Management, and Marketing departments within the company.

Under John’s leadership the business has evolved from a startup company to an efficient well-oiled machine that successfully provides services to the majority of pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country. In order to get to this point, John worked to improve organizational hierarchy and structure, employee development, pipeline management, and the campaign execution processes, which resulted in cost savings and efficiency. Ultimately, these changes allowed the company to reach profitability and led to the sale of the company to a billion-dollar global organization.

During John’s time as President between 2016 and 2017, the company has experienced a 50% increase in sold business, a 100% increase in revenue, and a 200% engagement increase. The company has also seen a significant increase in average deal size.

Equally important to John’s success is his leadership style and ability to positively influence and motivate a diverse team with locations spanning both U.S. coasts across seven states. He leads by example, demonstrating transparency, a strong work ethic, and sound decision making grounded by data and with a Skipta-first mindset.
