The finalists have been revealed for The 3rd Annual Creative Floor Healthcare Awards. The awards were originally established in 2014 by Shaheed Peera with the goal of changing the way award shows are run. In addition to celebrating creative work, the awards also recognize agency people (various roles), clients, and healthcare companies.

This year received a record-breaking amount of entries, which have made the awards larger than IPA Best of Health Awards, PM Awards, PM Digital Awards, and The Communique Awards combined. This year’s judges were chosen from the world’s most exciting tech entrepreneurs, consumer, and healthcare creatives, including Area23, AMV BBDO, Asterisco Healthcare Communications, BBC, Calm.com, CDM New York, Concentric Health Experience, Langland, M&C Saatchi, McCann Healthcare, Moshi Monsters, Mother New York, Ogilvy & Mather, PÂTÉ, Publicis Healthcare, Sudler & Hennessey, and The Bloc.

After judging, almost 50% of all categories were wiped out from the first round. Only 3% of entries made it through to the finals, which includes 40 agencies from across the world: 11-London, AbelsonTaylor, Ashfield Digital and Creative, Area23, CDM London, Concentric Health Experience, DDB Remedy, Digitas Health LifeBrands, Digitas Health LifeBrands EU, FCB Health, GSW Advertising, ICC Healthcare, Juice Pharma, Hamell, Halesway, Havas Just, Havas Life New York, Klick Inc., Langland, Lime, McCann Echo, McCann Health Sydney, McCann Torre Lazur New York, M&C Saatchi, Neon, Ogilvy Healthworld, Ogilvy Health PR, Publicis Life Brands Medicus, Publicis Life Brands Resolute, Saatchi & Saatchi Health, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Sagittarius, Sorento Healthcare Marketing, Sudler & Hennessey, TBWA London, TBWA Paling Walters, The Bloc, and Wellmark.

“I’d firstly like to thank all our judges, they’ve worked incredibly hard and selected amazing world-class winners this year,” Shaheed Peera, Founder, said in a statement. “Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s awards. Not only are you helping to raise the industry’s creative standards and profile, but you’re also contributing to our Talent and Diversity Fund. The fund will continue to help a generation of untapped talent find their way into health and wellness agencies. Congratulations to all our finalists. We wish them the very best of luck.”

A proportion of profits raised from the awards are put towards helping more diversity and untapped talent into health and wellness communication agencies. In the first two years the Talent Fund has raised over £20,000. The winners of the show decide who gets the money.
