“Bring Hypercortisolism to Light” – Understanding the Spectrum of Hypercortisolism

Patients with hypercortisolism present with signs and symptoms that seem to point to more common diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. As such, screening for elevated levels of cortisol is not top of mind. A physician we spoke with characterized the patient’s situation as a “constellation of symptoms.” This sparked the idea for the campaign.
