The 2013 Quality Assurance Summit

scene-1

AbelsonTaylor and GA Communication Group recently joined forces to host the first QA Summit: Digital Healthcare Marketing. More than 15 major healthcare agencies and tech companies, along with QA professionals from some of the leading pharmaceutical companies, gathered in Chicago to discuss the issues surrounding digital healthcare marketing and how to raise the quality bar.

While acknowledging the complexity of today’s marketing landscape, as well as how novel technologies have fundamentally changed human behavior, the ultimate goal was to create a best practices white paper in order to ensure that QA is implemented at the appropriate point in the project timeline—at the beginning.

Joe Shields, Digital Marketing Leader from AstraZeneca, moderated the event, which included presentations from QA thought leaders, a client panel, and a roundtable discussion, and concluded with a working session to propose solutions to the most common issues. The esteemed roster of speakers included Michael Morowitz of R/GA who delivered the keynote, Jim Spillson of AbelsonTaylor, Ben Currie and Elizabeth Estes of GA Communication Group, and Shachar Schiff of Bad Testing.
