This year, Leyla took on a management role overseeing a multi-team effort to add original visual assets to the Verywell library—including custom illustrations and interactive medical animation—to help readers achieve the clearest possible understanding of health conditions and wellness. She works directly with medical experts to carefully craft the best editorial experiences and expertly communicating complex topics in layperson terms.

Leyla plays an instrumental and indispensable role in the success of many educational programs designed by Verywell for patients in need of the latest information about their healthcare. This includes in-depth editorial guides for living with Multiple Sclerosis as well as new, innovative treatment options for those living with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. She has authored numerous articles that have helped shape Verywell’s brand voice and image, featuring helpful resources from recipes to blood pressure and diabetes management.

Leyla’s infectious passion for creating credible health information and truly improving the lives of users inspires compassionate and caring content instead of confusing phrasing and medical jargon.
